Visit to Muchgrange House and Farm
Shed members enjoyed a fantastic day yesterday at Muchgrange House and Muchgrange Farm, Cooley. We were welcomed by Rosie, Kathleen and Caroline Hanlon and given a comprehensive tour of the Agricultural Machinery and Farming Artefacts Museum not forgetting the Popemobile. After our tour we were met by Micheál Hanlon who talked about the current farming and dairying. We watched potatoes being planted from ground preparation to planting. Then we walked a short distance to view the local church, meeting Maria Hanlon for a chat, and then on to Muchgrange Farm to sample their Milk and Ice Creams
